A Study of Amivantamab in Addition to Standard of Care Agents (SOC) Compared With SOC Alone in Participants With Recurrent/Metastatic Head and Neck Cancer
Expand descriptionThe purpose of this study is to compare anti-tumor activity of amivantamab in addition to pembrolizumab and carboplatin versus pembrolizumab, 5-fluorouracil (FU), and platinum therapy (carboplatin or cisplatin) in participants with refractory/metastatic (R/M) head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). HNSCC is a type of cancer that develops in the head and neck regions, including the outer tissue layer of the mouth and throat. This study will focus on participants with HNSCC who are treatment-naive (have not received prior treatment) in the R/M setting.

A Phase 1, Multicenter Imaging Study of LNTH-2403 in Participants With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumors.
Expand descriptionLNTH-2403 (177Lu-DOTA-DUNP19) is a lutetium-177 radiolabeled, fully humanized monoclonal antibody (mAb) that binds with high specificity and affinity to leucine-rich repeat containing 15 (LRRC15), a transforming growth factor (TGF) - ß-driven biomarker expressed on the cell membrane of cancer cells and/or cancer-associated fibroblasts 9CAFs) in select tumor types. Upon binding, LNTH-2403 is rapidly internalized, such that it can serve as a dual-purpose agent for both non-invasive imaging and radiotheranostic treatment of LRRC15- positive tumors. This first-in-human (FIH) imaging study will evaluate the safety and imaging of LNTH-2403 in participants with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors.

Sensory Toys for Anxiety Reduction - Can Fidget Toys Improve Stress and Help Children to Cope Before Surgery (STARFISH)
Expand descriptionAnxiety associated with medical procedures is common, with 40-80% of children experiencing significant symptoms and postoperative consequences, including distress and delirium, increased intensity/duration of pain, prolonged hospital stays, behavioural/sleep disturbance and avoidance of medical encounters, which often remain into adulthood. Extensive consumer research has shown that a key priority for Australian consumers of all ages in relation to paediatric hospital care is addressing the fear and anxiety in children throughout the hospital experience (second only to anaesthesia safety for adults and third following anaesthesia safety and pain management for children). The STARFISH trial was driven by our consumer partners, particularly our youth consumers. It is well known that distraction is a coping strategy that can help with perioperative anxiety, and all members of the perioperative team commonly employ distraction techniques with patients during routine clinical care. One potential form of distraction involves sensory activities - fidget devices or sensory toys such as spinners, putty, and stability balls are increasingly being used within school settings to help students academically and behaviourally, with applicability for neurodiverse (e.g., autistic, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)) children being one area of particular interest. However, the research behind sensory toys is inconclusive. Sensory toys have been suggested to our team-from numerous consumers of all ages, including neurodiverse and neurotypical consumers-as a method to reduce anxiety in the preoperative period, thus leading to the design of the STARFISH trial. This project aims to assess the use of a sensory toy (of the child's choice) in the perioperative period on the day of surgery to reduce perioperative anxiety and distress.

Restoration of Central Vision With PRIMA in Patients With Photoreceptor Degeneration
Expand descriptionThe objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the PRIMA Products in participants with inherited retinal degeneration affecting the macula (including but not limited to Stargardt disease, and Retinitis Pigmentosa). Eligible participants will be implanted with the PRIMA Stim implant. The participants will be assessed with various visual function and functional vision tests at defined timepoints throughout the clinical investigation with the PRIMA Products. The purpose of this study is to gather enough clinical data to support the clinical evaluation required for the continuous development to improve the PRIMA Products.

A Study of OTP-01, a Dual Paratopic PD-1/VEGFR2 Antibody, in Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors
Expand descriptionThe main goals of this clinical trial are to find out what the best dose of the study drug, OTP-01, is for patients with solid tumors through understanding how it is tolerated and any side effects that it may cause. The trial will also see if OTP-01 causes tumors to shrink and how the body processes OTP-01 by measuring drug levels in the blood. The main questions this study aims to answer are: * What is the recommended dose of OTP-01 for adults with solid tumors? * Is OTP-01 safe and tolerable? * Does OTP-01 reduce tumor growth? Participants will: * Receive OTP-01 through an infusion into a vein. Doses will be spaced out and never more than once a week. * Have blood tests to evaluate safety and drug levels of OTP-01. These will be done often at first and then less frequently as treatment continues. * Have radiographic scans of their tumor at baseline and during the study at regular intervals. * Have the choice to have an optional tumor biopsy before and after treatment to help researchers understand how OTP-01 affects cancer and the immune system. These biopsies are voluntary and will not affect participation in the study.
