  • A New Website for Australian IVF Patients: 'Evidence-based IVF'

    IVF 'add-ons' are extra procedures, techniques, or medicines offered alongside standard IVF treatments, often marketed to improve success rates. Examples include EmbryoGlue, endometrial scratching, and acupuncture. However, most lack clear evidence of effectiveness or safety. Despite this, over 80% of Australian IVF patients use add-ons, sometimes paying thousands of dollars. Patients often rely on clinic websites and online forums for information, but these sources frequently exaggerate benefits while omitting information about costs and risks. There is no independent, evidence-based resource in Australia to guide decision-making, a gap recognized by both patients and government reports. To address this, the investigators developed "Evidence-Based IVF (EBI)," a new website informed by patient decision aid standards, expertise in digital health and risk communication, and co-design sessions with IVF patients and professionals. The investigators now plan to evaluate how well it helps patients understand the evidence base for IVF add-ons.

    This study will check how well a new medicine, GSK5764227, works, how safe it is and how the body handles it in participants all around the world with advanced inoperable or metastatic gastrointestinal cancer who have previously received treatment.

    This study aims to evaluate the safety and tolerability of RO7673396 in participants with advanced solid tumors harboring RAS mutation(s). This study consists of two stages: Stage 1 (Dose Escalation) and Stage 2 (Dose Expansion). Stage 1 will define the recommended dose(s) for expansion (RDEs) of RO7673396. Stage 2 will evaluate preliminary anti-tumor activity of the RDE(s) defined in Stage 1 and of other doses of interest for future development in selected solid tumor indications.

Participants in the originator study will have the opportunity to continue their assigned study intervention or continue their follow-up visits by transitioning to this study. This study will evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of pirtobrutinib.

    The master protocol study J2N-MC-JZNY provides a framework to enable the evaluation of the long-term safety and efficacy of pirtobrutinib after completion of clinical studies evaluating pirtobrutinib. The clinical studies that will feed into this master protocol are referred to as originator studies. The master protocol will govern individual study-specific appendices (ISAs) that will represent participants from the individual, completed originator studies. These participants will have the opportunity to enter this study and continue to receive treatment or continue follow-up visits. Overall, the master protocol and the individual ISAs, when combined, define the investigations for this study.
