  • Electronic Capturing of Activities During REhabilitation for Upper Limb After Stroke

    This is a prospective cohort study to determine the feasibility of accurate, complete, and timely real-time electronic capturing of upper limb motor intervention sessions during usual care. In clinical trials accurate reporting of usual care for people with stroke is scarce, thus understanding the control group compared to the experimental group is poor. The unit of measure in this study is therapy sessions, where a clinician is providing usual care to a patient. The observed sessions will occur in two Austin Health settings: Acute at Austin Hospital; subacute, across Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre or the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital. For each session, patient characteristics, dose and content of upper limb interventions will be electronically captured in REDCap. Additionally, the sessions will be video recorded to allow a second rater to assess feasibility. The secondary aim is to determine if there is an association between the dose and content of upper limb intervention sessions and the contextual factors of stroke patients. Two participant groups will be recruited: Stroke patients and Clinicians (Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants).

    This is a Phase 2 global, multi-center, open-label study to assess the efficacy, safety and tolerability of Surovatamig (AZD0486) monotherapy in adult participants with relapsed/refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) who have received at least two prior lines of therapies. The study has 2 Modules: Module 1 for FL and Module 2 for LBCL.

    The goal of this platform trial is to determine the efficacy, safety and cost-effectiveness of various interventions in patients with acute cardiorespiratory failure requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) The main question the platform trial aims to address is to determine the effect of a range of interventions on survival, organ support and resource utilisation to day 28 for hospitalised patients receiving ECMO. Researchers will compare various interventions within multiple platform trial domains to see if the interventions have effects on survival, organ support and resource utilisation for the patient cohort. Participants will be enrolled in accordance with the platform trial's domain structure to answer the research questions.

    Phase 1a/1b dose escalation and expansion study designed to evaluate the safety and tolerability of NVL-330, determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D), and evaluate the antitumor activity in participants with advanced or metastatic human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) -altered non-small lung cancer (NSCLC). Phase 1a dose escalation is designed to assess the safety and tolerability of NVL-330 and to select the candidate RP2D(s) and, if applicable, the MTD. Phase 1b expansion is designed to further evaluate the overall safety and tolerability of the candidate RP2D(s) of NVL-330 and to determine the RP2D of NVL-330 in participants with advanced or metastatic HER2 mutant NSCLC.

  • 68Ga-NTA-476 Imaging in Prostate Cancer

    This study is investigating a new agent to be used in PET imaging for prostate cancer, called 68Ga-NTA-476. It aims to find out where 68Ga-NTA-476 goes in the body once it is injected into a person and whether there are any side effects or issues with tolerating the compound. This will be compared to an existing imaging compound which is currently used in Australia called 18F-DCFPyl. 68Ga-NTA-476 has been developed and tested in the laboratory; however, this is the first time that it will be tested in humans.
